Lorraine Deitchman I.O.M.
A graduate of the six-year Institutes for Organization Management program, Lorraine is the heart and soul of Your Chamber Connection.
Lorraine began her career in the Dallas/Fort Worth area as a salesperson with Tom Hopkins International. Soon after she began working in membership development and discovered her passion for helping Chambers increase their bottom line and energize their volunteers. “It was one of the few things that seemed to be a win-win for everyone,” she recalls.
Lorraine founded Your Chamber Connection in 1990 with a desire to always leave Chambers of Commerce better than before, with more funds in the bank and more educated, energized and motivated volunteers. Since then she has become the most successful woman in the membership development industry.
Today, Lorraine is still actively involved in the company, overseeing event sales, event coordination and travel coordination, and calmly making sure Chambers enjoy a truly successful event. Her favorite part of her job is hearing stories of how Your Chamber Connection has had a positive impact in the careers of the people the company works with. She continues to be inspired when she sees volunteers get excited about their community and Chamber, and feel the satisfaction of accomplishing a common goal together. She shares, “The more I see, the more I love! I’ve watched communities realize just how viable their Chambers are to their success and growth.”
Outside of work, Lorraine has a passion for children’s charities, and is involved with Christmas Wish in Fort Worth, which provides over a thousand children with holiday gifts each year, as well as with causes that assist the homeless in the area.
